I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and practice in Windsor, CT and also via telehealth in Massachusetts, New York, Maine and across Connecticut. I value authenticity, humor and human connection in my clinical work and believe that these are essential elements of healing. Through our conversations, we will explore, discover and process how your past can influence the present and future and hopefully deepen your understanding of the self and increase awareness of how you are and how you would like to be.

I am eclectically trained and pull from a many approaches, including but not limited to relational, psycho dynamic, and humanistic theories. Although the different approaches used are all clinically valid, ultimately I believe that you are the expert of your own life and have the ability to make the changes you want to see.

My doctoral degree in clinical psychology is from William James College where my doctoral research focused on posttraumatic growth and meaning making with combat veterans. My other clinical training includes, survivors of trauma, substance abuse, community mental health, anxiety, depression, grief and bereavement, child and adolescent therapy, couples therapy and many other populations. I believe that in order for therapy to be effective, there has to be a match between therapist and client, plus a readiness to change on the client’s part. If you decide to work with me, we can figure out together if there is a match and how to develop a treatment plan that is tailored to you, your goals, and what is going on in your life.
